Quillo Project

In 2003, our main Community Quilts project was making Quillos to give to local law enforcement agencies.  The Quillos were placed in law enforcement vehicles and are given to children who need comfort and warmth while under the care of law enforcement officials.   The children keep the Quillos given to them. 

LPQG embraced this project after hearing a moving plea by Pat Akers and her bear, Bob, and made more than 60 Quillos in 2003 and continue to collect and distribute them today.
