Welcome to La Plata Quilters Guild online! Our guild
is based in Durango, Colorado and currently has 90 members. All
levels of quilters are welcome in our guild - the only requirement is a love
of quilts. La Plata Quilters Guild members enjoy:

The La Plata Quilters Guild meets on the 4th Thursday of each
month except as noted on our Calendar of Events page. Meetings begin at 6:00 p.m.
followed immediately by our Program and Show & Tell. Meetings take place at Christ the King Lutheran Church,
495 Florida Road in Durango.
Our meetings always feature informative programs on the various aspects
of quilting. We also have block exchanges, door prizes, show & tell, round
robins, mystery quilts, and the occasional guest speaker. In addition, LPQG sponsors Saturday workshops featuring new techniques
and inspiring teachers.

9th Annual Small Quilt Benefit Auction
The next Small Quilt Benefit Auction will be held on
Sunday, June 1, 2008. Charitable Organizations may submit applications
to become beneficiaries for this auction. For more

2008 Raffle Quilt
The pattern for this year's raffle quilt is
Blooming Nine Patch, from the book Tradition with a Twist by
Blanche Young & Dalene Stone, and using Kaffe
Fassett's beautiful fabrics.
